COOKIES

The MANGROVECP Foundation are likely to use cookies to make their websites more relevant and user-friendly and to improve their performance.

What's a cookie?

A cookie is a small file that is stored on a visitor's hard drive while browsing the pages of a site. They can be used to remember and reuse the preferences of visitors and to identify their browsing patterns. Cookies can therefore help websites to improve the services they offer and their user experience. For example, sites can customize the information they display to the preferences of the visitor. It is important to know that the information it holds can only be read or edited by the website issuing a cookie. The life span of a cookie may vary from the time spent browsing the site to several years. The site or online service provider decides the duration of the cookie, depending on the purpose of the cookie.

How does the website of the MANGROVECP Foundation use cookies?

We use three types of cookies on our websites:

♦ Cookies that are technically necessary for the operation of the sites.

♦ Cookies used to analyze and identify visitor browsing patterns. These cookies help to compile statistics on the frequency with which different components of the sites are used (visited sections or content and pathways taken), thus helping the MANGROVECP Foundation to improve the relevance and ergonomics of the site.

♦ Cookies that are used by social sharing services. These cookies help to measure the use of the various content-share buttons made available by the MANGROVECP Foundation.

It is against the policy of the MANGROVECP Foundation to store any personal information in any of these types of cookies.

How do you manage cookies stored on your computer?

Cookies may only be stored with the consent of the visitor. They may modify their consent at any time by changing the settings of cookies on their browser. If you enable your browser to save them, cookies embedded in the pages and content you visit may be stored temporarily in a dedicated area of your computer. They can only be read by their issuing sites. If you do not allow cookies to be stored on your device, or if you delete cookies that have already been stored, you will no longer be able to enjoy the features that have been enabled. For example, you will no longer be able to access personal secured accounts with a memorized password and will have to type in your code every time you want to access a secure area.

How do you set your preferences for cookies in your browser?

You can set your browser to enable/disable cookies automatically or depending on the website you are issuing. You can also program it to ask for your consent every time a cookie is enabled. Each browser has its own cookie settings. If you need guidance on changing your cookie settings, you can find a description of them in the help menu of your browser.
